Marie-Lise Baroutjian is an Associate Attorney at the Firm, who is driven by a deep commitment to justice and client advocacy.
Marie-Lise earned her law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. During law school, she worked as a Law Clerk for 17 months at a plaintiff's side civil litigation firm in Baltimore, focusing on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. As a Law Clerk, she gained valuable experience drafting pleadings and motions, assisting with depositions, drafting discovery, and participating in trial preparation. Additionally, Marie-Lise served as a Judicial Intern for Justice Biran at the Supreme Court of Maryland and worked in the law school’s Immigration Clinic. After graduating from law school and before joining the Firm, she broadened her global perspective by working at an international business law firm in Yerevan, Armenia, while also volunteering as an English language teacher.
Prior to law school, Marie-Lise earned a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Human Development from Binghamton University in New York, where she also interned at the Department of Social Services and the District Attorney’s Office. Conversational in both Armenian and Arabic, Marie-Lise brings a diverse skill set to her role at the Firm, where she is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she represents.
